I am always excited for improvements to weather notices and forecasts and stuff, including the new “yellow/orange/red" warning system... but...

my scripts for the text forecast are now broken... like the West Coast Forecast right now.

It will take me awhile to figure out what the new patterns are for the text so I can update my code. Thankfully, the "Statement" links still work.

But that's ok. Some fun Christmas-break coding to do.

Alright... first test is working for this one yellow warning text. Since yellow is not easy to see in text, I've shifted from changing the color of the text to applying a background. I'm going to use the same colours as ECCC uses. I need to go find some more examples across Canada so I can work out what their format is. #BCStorm #PortAlberni #ECCC #coding #text
