J'ai reçu des nouvelles intéressantes de la liste de distribution des utilisateurs de données du Service météorologique du Canada: dès demain 14 avril, les applications de prévision du temps tourneront sur une nouvelle infrastructure matérielle de super-informatique. Pour fixer les idées, la métrique globale de vitesse de calcul augmentera par un facteur d'environ 1,7. Par ailleurs le modèle de prévision piloté (nudged) par IA deviendra opérationnel le 20 mai.
