Final Results,

In second place we have "Polar Opposites"

In a new twist on team sleeping we have these two cats who seem to be suffering from some form of quantum entanglement. They (physicists) say quantum entanglement is "creepy action at a distance" but these cats just take it as another way of sleeping.

Polarity, Antipodes, pick your term, but whatever else you pick, also note they are second place winners today.

In third place we have Fergus, performing a nice tight curl.

Note the tail that finishes the circle, such a classic. Also note the paw protecting the nose.

Yes this curl could be tighter, and a "tail over nose" is nice, but all things considered, nice move Fergus

That is a wrap for today.

Summary:
fireworks? No
Gymnastics? No

But in this fast pace world where some Sleeping Contests have been full of fire and fury it is important to remember that at the end of the day we are watching cats sleep. So set your expectations accordingly.

Oh and of course once the contest is over our cats will all sleep in a pyramid, or standing on their heads, etc.

Also note the undercover move still has the judges perplexed as how to rank it.

@tor_haxson Thank you for another great competition! Good to see the classic poses never go out of style.

@astridpoot

Here !! Here !!

Chasing new forms, and new styles is only gonna end in someone getting injured. Also , in the winter in particular, the classics are the best approach.

@tor_haxson Fergus is a lovely kitty, and that's a very tidy pose!

@sbourne

We call him "double stripe" at times.

He rules, not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he has other skills with which to navigate the world.
