@weirdestate love this! It would make a kick ass family retreat in the summer. Sheltered camp spaces…. Excellent fire pit space in center, plenty of fun space for fun and games. Tubing in the moat.

I mean, plop a functional and warm yurt in the middle, and enjoy all the open air studio space!

It's going to be on one of those episodes when Kevin goes back years later, to see if they eventually managed to finish it, after running out of money in the first episode.

There will be a community working bees, deaths in the family (and the associated inheritances that still don't manage to fund the project), heroic excavations, "unexpected flooding", and surprises when transporting building materials by barge turns out to be horrendously expensive.

I do too, but if Kevin, or Anthony Burke (host of the Australian edition) (or, more likely, their producers, via presumably, our architect) approached my partner and I while we were planning a renovation, our response would be

"Oh fuck, we've fucked up already, haven't we, and we haven't yet even started work. Is there anything we can do to avoid going over time and over budget?"
