Vanalope@PhoenixSerenity in a way, being an alopecian for most of my adult life prepped me for this. I was already used to tuning ppl out who'd stare at me because I was bald in the before times. I sure as fuck don't notice or care if I'm being stared at for wearing a mask.
I also never get shit for wearing a mask likely because they all assume I'm a chemo patient. 🤷♀️
@Vanalope Most people assume I wear a mask because I'm visibly physically disabled. I tell them - I wear one because of that & because I care about the health of other folks in my community - even if they don't care about me or my health. I am blunt as fuck.
