Which version best conveys the message "ISO 8601. Every over date/time format is inferior"?
Based on different versions of the original logo I made multiple attempts. One of them will become a sticker. White on red, Blue on White or White on Blue?

EDIT: Since there was no consensus and some even tried to get me to different teams (RFC 3339, RFC 9557) I just sent an order for every version.

@FlohEinstein Nachdem die ISO selber rot weiß ist, eher dieses.
@lobingera Die anderen sind das alte Logo und das fΓΌr ISO 9001
@FlohEinstein white on blue. I'd like a shirt and stickers, please.
@hillu I will only be ordering stickers, but you are free to make whatever merch you like of it.
As usual with my stickers, the vectors are set free 😁

@FlohEinstein This reminds me that I'm very confused about RFC3339 and need that web site to compare them for me

@FlohEinstein oooh, do you plan on selling them? would love to buy a pack of the colour you'll chose :)
@xiu we'll see, I didn't plan to sell my Ankh-Morpork stickers, but so many asked for it that I now sold almost enough to finance what I paid for them 😁 I'll bookmark your toot to remember when I have them printed.
In case you want to print it yourself, or make a shirt like someone else in the replies, here's the SVG https://codeberg.org/FlohEinstein/vectors/src/branch/main/iso8601_ultras

@FlohEinstein White on Blue sieht irgendwie hΓΌbsch aus...

@FlohEinstein Nice, but nowadays it should be RFC 9557!

https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc9557

Plain RFC 3339 / ISO 8601 is lossy and thus insufficient.

RFC 9557: Date and Time on the Internet: Timestamps with Additional Information

This document defines an extension to the timestamp format defined in RFC 3339 for representing additional information, including a time zone. It updates RFC 3339 in the specific interpretation of the local offset Z, which is no longer understood to "imply that UTC is the preferred reference point for the specified time".

@FlohEinstein Well, I like red, and it pops out a lot, so yeah. πŸ˜ƒ

I would stay away from the blue because it looks like the ISO official color and that can be a problem.

That said, I don't love the time stamp part of the spec... πŸ˜‘

@neal actually the red one is the official current color and globe design... the ones with blue are older - or unofficial ones
@FlohEinstein @anpli look, it's your favorite subject
@FlohEinstein white on red. StickerApp still has 25% off with CYBER25 and they have sparkly stickers...
@RichiH ordering it from the US would be expensive and almost certainly not arrive on time for the 39c3 congress, but thank you for the effort anyway 😊
@FlohEinstein I order from them to Germany regularly, and they print in EU (and Japan, and US, and...). I think they're a Swedish company, actually
@RichiH oh ok, at first glance it looked like a US company. MIght have been that it geolocated me in Switzerland and therefore sent me to the US store...
I used Flyeralarm Germany now, sending it to a village right next to mine, just across the Rhine. Half the price from what I would pay if I ordered it from Flyeralarm Switzerland

@FlohEinstein nice.

I also ordered 50 fancy ones: pixie dust, die-cut, see-through colors. Should arrive next week.

Poke me during #39c3 and I can hand you a few.

@RichiH will do! I'll be bringing along the RFC8601ultras and other stickers as well (ordered 500 new ones of these https://chaos.social/@FlohEinstein/111339907063126324 )
