Been following Above & Beyond since the late 90s, and it's been amazing to see how their music grows and just becomes better and better over time (and expands, with #Anjunabeats and then #Anjunadeep and Anjunachill most recently); their label has been the genesis of so many brilliant producers in the electronic music scene over the past 25 years, and I love to see where things are headed next. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhK12A2CGOQ #aboveandbeyond

It wasn't until I found them that I really was able to put my finger on what it is about my favorite music that makes it my favorite music: lush, layered melodies, strings and vocals, and a through line that pulls the listener into what's coming next.
@darkuncle similar story here. I’ve been listening to them and musicians under their label for 20+ years, more than half of my life. My wife surprised me with tickets to see them this past summer in Toronto. It was such an incredible show and moment in my life to see them in person. I had shelved the idea years ago, and since then we’ve been listening to their albums with our kids. They keep producing music that’s wholesome and meaningful.
@itsmedave I’ve missed a couple of opportunities now to see them in Los Angeles (my wife isn’t into EDM as much as I am, and I don’t want to go solo) … I need to get some friends together and go
@darkuncle That’s been my soundtrack to work today. Loads of great tracks - thanks for the recommendation.
@taigmcnab A&B have been the most consistent part of my life soundtrack for about 25 years now (their podcast in particular). During pandemic I discovered Shingo Nakamura and the Monstercat Silk music label, and that’s been top of rotation ever since.
@darkuncle thanks for the additional recommendations - really enjoying these!
