I’m trying to build myself up. This isn’t bragging; I’m trying to honestly assess my skills and then assert that I am valuable, despite never being paid what I know I’m worth.

A few years ago I shipped a Playdate game with Zero Bugs. The only 3 reported errors occurred after platform changes.

I am the fastest and most-knowledgeable CSS person I’ve ever worked with. By a long shot.

I love collaborating & building others up.

Hire me, please!

You’ve convinced me you’re an amazing person with amazing creative energy.

But if you want to land a new job, you have to make that actionable for potential hiring managers (that’s corporate speak for the person that will ultimately decide who gets the offer on that job opening they have).
Are you remote-only or what area? Do you have experience collaborating and working in a team? Do you prefer startups/SMEs or okay with big corporate? If in a bigger team: what’s your preferred role? fullstack/server-side html? client-side js? okay with react (because that might be their code base) frontend html/css? designing in figma?

Think from the perspective of an employer: they have a very specific problem to solve. convince them you are their solution. both in the motivation-letter and cv, and then again in the interview.

Perhaps most importantly “can you work as part of a team” means: can you compromise and agree to do something even if you think it’s not the right solution? Took me very long to learn that as well 😅
