Sini TuuliaI am extremely annoyed that I snapped my favourite sewing needle! It was just thick enough to take a doubled up cotton thread or two strands of cotton embroidery floss, and basting thread was easy to thread into it... But it was also slim, sharp and long enough to get a proper grip and straight stitch going. And I don't seem to have any other sewing needle in my about three dozen that would have all these qualities. What utter shit!
Relatedly: Sewing is such a dainty and delicate hobby, in no way at all will you develop interesting new callouses and pierce the tips of your fingers so many times that the skin comes off in sort of strata... 😅 And this is with me using thimbles!

@inherentlee Yup! And where I pinch the needle is also very shiny, and the sides of my nails look very interesting!
