On the train from Copenhagen to Hamburg to play dress-up with the Society for Creative Anachronism, SCA, this weekend. Left the flat at 9 am, and ought to be at the station in Hamburg 7 pm. Then underground and hopefully catch the last bus out to the site for the event. If not it is only 2,3 kilometres walk from Ohlstedt.
But I am optimistic. And I am working on a new pair of sewn hose.

After several years of contemplating, I’ve finally altered my Patagonia jacket’s sleeves (which were too long and annoying) to fit me perfectly. The hardest part was undoing and removing the binding tape cloth from the sleeves. Now I will love wearing this well-loved jacket even more!

Repair time!

The magnetic clasp on my daughter's bag started to tear through, because it was only anchored on one side to a _very_ thin layer of fabric, so it's time for some embarrassingly over-sewed mending!

I've replaced the damaged section of the casing, but only minimal effort to beautify the rough outer edge. The goal here was to make it functional. Although if I had any tape like the rest of the seat back is finished with I might be tempted to do that, too 😂

3/lots I have cut out some dress fabric: - with a toy like this which is playable I need to make the clothes robust and removable so I may make a full wardrobe for her. Changing clothes is a fun game.

It could be full time job mending the holes Kona chews into fabrics. It's a good thing she's so sweet!
This required a patch on the inside, so it wouldn't catch on things being shoved into the pocket, and one on the outside, where it wouldn't be ugly.
