Seeing a lot more swatches and writing samples of Diamine Lady Grey and in writing it's mostly too light and gray, so I'll probably skip it. I rarely use gray inks, and it doesn't seem like its other component colors would come out unless a pen put down a huge amount of ink. Doesn't seem worth the hassle.

Maybe next year's Reddit collab ink will be better.

@jimp I love Diamine Earl Grey, though. I have it in a couple of pens right now. I also bought a backup bottle.

@pixiecata I like how that looks in swatches, too, but also not one I prefer when it comes to writing. Both it and Lady Grey look like plain gray to me in writing samples, I was hoping for more tint than that.

I have a bottle of Pilot Iroshizuku Kiri-same which I do like, but may be the only gray ink I'll need/want, until that runs out which could be years.

@jimp I love grey inks :) But only the legible ones, hahaha. Kiri-same was my old staple before Earl Grey, too bad it was discontinued. I also like Diamine Graphite. Earl Grey is a bit bluer while Graphite is a bit greener.
