I am currently testing out stuff.
Someone recommended Brave to me, because it was data friendly and rather secure.
What is the issue with brave ( other than it using AI shit in default)?
I am genuinly asking because i want to be aware of issues that are connected with services i use and if it us something that makes it a no go for me or not.

it amounts to a lot of scammy practices and being dishonest to their users.
their advertising as being privacy focused is at odds with their business model revolving around ads.
they sell userdata to AI companies for training
afaict this is about ingesting copyrighted material for training their AI, w/o giving attribution to the original creator.
