@vantablack I mean, this goes along with "You don't own anything you can't carry at a dead run."

At its core, you have to decide how to make a system where no one has the power to take rights away. Legally? With force?

@eldritch48 @vantablack

but ""legally?" and "with force?" are the same thing, and both mean that you do actaully have someone who has the power to take peoples rights away.

as laws and governments and shit function by violating and ignoring human rights, and pretending its okay,

if you have such a thing, you've basically already failed

having a system in the first place where someone is allowed to or 'decides' what happens to others is the issue, in the first place; there is .. like especially when its always like someone whos given express permission or power to violate peoples rights, .. (like a government, a cop, a court, a prison, etc; whatever the fuck else) so maybe stop fucking creating giving them that ..

@vantablack say it louder for the liberals in the back

@vantablack

The way to build that system is to have the rank and file you and me never tolerate the rise of wealth and power the rich have pulled off.

Conservatism has one goal to render us a permanent under class nothing more.

@vantablack @intransitivelie Any system of protecting rights has to be executed by people. While some systems may be more resilient to corruption, there is no system that is immune. It is up to the people to make sure the system isn’t compromised, and fight when it is.

@vantablack i mean even with the 'good president' its also dependant on the someone judge cop or not calling you a 'criminal' or a 'immergrant' or otherwise deeming you or your actions 'illegal'.. or otherwise .. some other group that is essentially "peopel who dont actually have rights" dare i say; if you have some subset of people who you deliberately treat worse and deny basic rights of; .. then you also dont have rights

but i mean thats the same where its basicaly just dependant on whoever the fuck is 'in power' ..

Rights are rights even if someone is able to prevent you from exercising them.
Extreme example: murder does not negate right to life, only the ability to exercise that right.
