Hey #Seattle now that elections are over-ish we need to tell local municipalities to get the flock of Flock.

Due to public outcry and increasing ICE sightings Redmond, WA just disabled there Flock system in a hurry.

This is a small victory against ICE and Flock that folks should celebrate and copy!

Hours after NPI dispatched a letter to the Redmond City Council calling for the swift decommissioning of the Flock surveillance system, the Council recommended to the Redmond Police Department that the system be disabled, and the police chief agreed to cut off access to his officers within hours. Later this month, the Council will discuss ending the contract with Flock Safety.

Why was the Redmond City Council and cops so quick to disable Flock all of a sudden?

Well you see the ICE raids on the Eastside of Seattle have recently been increasing and there were very visible ICE operations in Redmond this week.

Locals have called attention to the location of the Redmond ICE raids as all having been within or near the view of a previously active Redmond Flock camera.
