🌅There will be an #SDR & #DSP Devroom at #fosdem26 !
Now, that makes me think about the kind of signal processing communities I'd like to see more of, a bit outside of my SDR-heavy bubble. Forwarding this to DSP communities would be very appreciated!

I like the #biosignals crowd–but there's also a "Bioinformatic" devroom.

What about DSP for audio/video? I'm sure #ffmpeg & friends have something to tell! But: there's "Music Production" and "Open Media" devrooms, which overlap somewhat.

I Wonder where the #hearingaids developers are! These would be awesome to have do a talk.
Same for the "process signal, but *fast*" people; top of my head, we've got @rygorous , but he's more on the "fast" than on the signals side. We have @mkretz who could talk about C++ SIMD stuff, but my guess: he'd prefer to talk in a room full of compileristas?
Are #EMerge #FEM/#Heavi people here? It'd seem #Sionna gets a lot of well-deserved attention combing physics+signals, but it's not the sole toolkit!

@funkylab The DSP Online Conference is happening this week. Last month the in-person Signal Processing Summit had people from communications/SDR, radar, and audio backgrounds.

The FOSDEM SDR/DSP room sounds cool, but I probably won't be there.

2025 DSP Online Conference

An Online Conference about Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and its Applications

@remcycles yeah, I was a presenter at the online version :) nice people!
