@cstross Appropriate that the plane resembles an Ag Cat

@JamesPadraicR @cstross It looks it has a harmonica for a wing. Imagine the sound that'd make.

@cstross

I especially like the bit in the upper right corner, where the biplane is shooting cheese sauce at the broccoli monster.

@cstross and they said broccoli is good for your health.
@cstross That would give me nightmares forever! I absolutely hate broccoli, brussel sprouts and all their ilk.
@shadoranyx Same! Also cauliflower, cabbage, and mustard. They're all cultivars of the same satanic plant!
@cstross We have a number in that series up on our kitchen wall. They are adorable.
@cstross Obviously "AI"-generated. REAL brocolli don't have that many tentacles on their florets.
@oddhack The original dates to 2016, so predates current AI models.
@cstross So, you don't like broccoli emi-chan? You will like it, or else!
@cstross its only weakness is a giant tureen full of cheese sauce. Our defense forces are preparing it now, using one of the blast furnaces at the steel plant.
@cstross where’s this from? The katakana along the left side is wrong in more ways than one.
@louie Poster seen on the counter of a local Japanese diner (in Edinburgh)

@cstross Dang. That kinda bums me out.

ブ is missing a second mark for the tenten, ツ is “tsu” so the artist definitely meant the smaller version (ッ) for a glottal stop, and ー should be a vertical stroke when written vertically. As it stands, one could read this as poorly as “purotsukoriichi” instead of “burokkori” ☹️

@cstross After due consideration to the merits of both positions, I am on Broccozilla's side.
