If @kagihq made a dedicated maps app, I’d happily replace both #AppleMaps and #GoogleMaps, at least for search/discovery.

Add simple, reliable turn-by-turn directions, saved places, and privacy-forward iOS Calendar events sync? I’d happily pay a monthly subscription.

Tired of Google’s surveillance, ads, and crowded interface. Tired of Apple’s incomplete search results and laggy performance (and upcoming ads). (#TransitApp you can do no wrong, but sadly need car directions in Texas.)

@mariusz @kagihq I’ve heard of them, but they don’t seem to be higher quality or more values-forward than Apple (re: privacy, for now).

What do you like about them?

@rcbo @kagihq I like them because they’re mostly Europe based and good enough to be considered an alternatives to the data-hungry hippos in the US
