Only learned today that #NaNoWriMo folded earlier this year.
Inevitable really.
Difficult to hold together an organisation that starts out as free and fun once it's become a global behemoth. Especially given the number of people who don't understand that just because the internet is free for them to use, doesn't mean it's free to run that organisation.
