WTLIt's a widespread problem here, and yes, we do need to do better.
When engaging with someone (especially for the first time), think; are you violating Wheaton's Law? (Don't be a dick). Are you gate-keeping? Being condesending?
Our collective action is pushing new users , hoping for something better that the current options, away. We want this place to be kind and welcoming.
