@Fishrock great idea! And right now there are some impact effects, but no dust. I could def do that for my larger projectiles. I have an issue right now with the hit markers, so sometimes it's hard to see the effects. I also want to add a little 'dust poof' on my bigger units when they fire, like tanks and artillery :)
@TheDevBlog hmmm not quite what I mean. i do see now on a closer inspection that there is blood from the soldiers biut it is hard to see.
It feels like the projectiles don’t really have “impact” right now
I think a bit more follow-through (maybe lingering particles, travelling further) would help sell it more
