@Viss @briankrebs I still remember the most visceral example of shrinkflation (and austerity programs, and fake bonuses) is from 1984, when Winston Smith has to adjust the historical numbers when the chocolate ration is cut from 20 grams to 5, and later write a story about the party doubling the chocoration to 10 grams.
