So, anyway... I tried to do distro hopping like I used to a couple of years ago, but I just can't move on from #Bazzite

It's a console-grade experience in the sense that if you need something to just install and forget about the pain setting #Windows up caused you, it's really therapeutic.

I don't take my time now, because I'm forced to, I do it, because I *love* setting up Linux. FlatHub helps, not gonna lie.

I just wish downloading themes wasn't broken in the #KDE #Plasma settings.

@etnevel One blocking point right now for mass adoption can be the lack of DKMS support

@ekimia I pretty sure, that for mass adoption of #Linux, people shouldn't know about what DKMS is in the first place.

And while most of the time Mint is the recommended entry point, I think that the projects of #UniversalBlue would be a better way for everyone to start with.

Now I'm on Bazzite because I want to get back into gaming, but for more general purposes their Aurora distro would be perfect for everyone.

Immutable OSes are the future of Linux for casual users and businesses, IMO.

@etnevel I was explaining that some devices will need DKMS drivers anyway and immutable AFAIK don't support it right now which is why it can t be used everywhere

I"m 100% for immutable BTW and A/B devices , we have to go towards that but we have still some pitfalls to overcome
