Odense train station has one of the new Danish travel check in/out points*. It's still out of order but looks fine.

Weird thing is that when I move my phone close to it (NFC?) the thing freaks out and the screen starts flickering text.

*as @CiaraNi keeps pointing out: it will still be possible to pay for busses and trains with a physical card (as opposed to the misinformation that DK will fully move to an app).

Exciting life update: Toddler just offered a blueberry to the #DSB conductor. We lost a blueberry but she completely forgot to check our ticket.

The second conductor was not offered a blueberry even though they held out their hand for one.. Toddler just waved and said Hiiiiiiii.

This is the #train experience I pay good money for.

Minor update to the life update: an hour ago toddler got suspiciously quiet, then cried and puked up a LOT of semi-processed blueberry 🫐 🤮

Interesting end to a good day. I do hope the DSB conductor is fine..

@Pepijn Wait until tour toddler figures out conductors hand out stickers to children when they check tickets.
