@travis @Daojoan idk, I feel like if you provide a Kubernetes cluster, you should call yourself a cluster computing provider, precisely to distinguish yourself from Amazon, Google, and Microsoft

"Cloud computing" was a marketing term from conception, so, when it no longer serves its purpose, you can and should change the verbiage.

How is a "small business cloud provider" different from a hosting center? I mean other than marketing deciding to ride the hype of big companies who don't care about their customers?

If that is the difference, don't blame us for lumping you in with the "cloud" shit show, blame your own marketing.

@leeloo @Daojoan Because we’re an actual small business. You can build out a private cloud in our infrastructure, and the money goes towards putting food on the table, not a billionaire’s private space program or third vacation house. Unlike the big cloud providers, we welcome support tickets. We like getting to know our customers. It’s not our marketing that is to blame. It’s the people who can’t look past the sponsored results section on search engines.

Yes. I've been saying that for years. I think a lot of information technology professionals have been saying that all along. "The cloud" is only a marketing buzzword somebody thought of to sound more romantic and interesting than selling access to the same old "servers" time and again.
