people in skirts regardless of their gender

boost if agree like if yes
@Natsura I don't think I could pull it off, but normalize it in case l ever try! Everyone should feel comfortable in whatever clothing that want!

@Natsura yes, but I personally need a little more space in the gender point buy before I can commit

I still get ma'amed even in menswear

@Natsura Looking back through history, "pants" are a relatively new and -- let's fact it -- pretty inconvenient invention.
@Natsura I hate the way my legs look, but this is still goals for next Pride parade for me.
@Natsura a handsome man in a skirt would fix me
@Natsura Which reminds me: kilt. I should get a nice kilt. (I was gifted one, but it was far too large; it's just languishing in my closet right now.) I wonder where I might find a good kilt.
@scooter @Natsura I have often thought of getting a kilt.
@WolfofWords @Natsura I think it would be a handsome look on you.
@[email protected] @[email protected] I agree. Kilts are awesome! The Scottish definitely have the right idea when it came to that clothing item
@Natsura @scooter @WolfofWords Just don't tell a cis het scotsman it's a skirt. They might not like that too well... even though it's definitely a skirt.
@[email protected] so have you gotten a kilt in the year since posting this reply? i want an update!
@Natsura Alas, no...but Christmas is coming up soon and my wives have expressed a desire to see me skirted, so to speak...
@[email protected] ah! I hope to hear of positive news regarding you being skirted

@Natsura I tried wearing a skirt. I liked the idea but it gave me gender dysphoria.

Need a kilt or something. Skirt-like but not fem-coded.

@IceWolf Ah well kilts are definitely perfect for that tbh
@Natsura @IceWolf cargo kilts FTW!
@dec_hl @Natsura Oh a cargo kilt sounds super awesome! One other thing that bothered me about the skirt we got is the fact that it has NO POCKETS.

@dec_hl @Natsura Oo cool! At first I thought there was a big slit up the front, but nah, from the other photos it looks like there isn't so we can safely go pantsless.

(Whole reason I want a Skirt-Like Object, honestly. To give our junk some air. I'd probably want something quite a bit longer than that, hopefully there are longer kilts.)

@IceWolf try looking for "utility kilts" :)
Unfortunately I prefer to try clothes on in a store before buying, so buying online isn't really an option for me, and I've yet to see these in shops around here in northern Norway.
@dec_hl @Natsura
@FiXato @dec_hl @Natsura Oooo! We're in a massive metro area (SF bay area) so we might have something locally.
@FiXato @IceWolf @dec_hl @Natsura can recommend https://www.verillas.com/ kilts. Mine has lasted awesomely. Also very much like the utilikilt design.

Verillas
@IceWolf @dec_hl @Natsura loads of dresses and skirts with pockets now (commercial and wedding photographer here)
@IoanSaid @IceWolf @Natsura well, the last skirst and dresses I bought had pockets that don't even fit my iPhone 😩
@Natsura ok but can we like normalise this already

@Natsura

Honestly ...

What is there to boost? What's to agree?

That's only half a sentence, without a real statement.

"people could wear skirts regardless of their gender" is a statement

To which I can agree.

@Natsura skirts: -90% asscrack sweat!
@Natsura HELL. YEAH. My neighborhood is transgender
@Natsura Skirts = superior ventilation

@Natsura

If people can wear pants regardless of gender, why not skirts?

@Fizzfizzpopop

@EricLawton @Fizzfizzpopop I agree! Besides there was a time in history when it was common for people regardless of gender to wear skirts and dresses (usually togas but still), so why not bring that back?

@Natsura

We don't need to go back in history.

Highland games.

And many other cultures across the planet.

@Fizzfizzpopop

@Natsura We call them kilts here ;)
@Natsura As a Scottish person I can tell you a kilt is the ultimate item of clothing. A skirt is close to this so I support this message.

@Natsura

Someone pointed out a long time ago that "male" fashion adopted by "female" presenting people is a lot more common, not least because of the social cost of adoption in the other direction.

@cavyherd That didn’t use to be the case until quite recently. People assigned the status woman by society have been legally prohibited from wearing trousers in several ”western” countries.

@ahltorp

Well, now you get into what constitutes "quite recently." & this also varies considerably by region, as well.

@Natsura femboy here, i do my best ♥️
@Natsura finally, engagement bait I agree with.
