@loxdogs Apart from being proprietary... we are currently unaware of any major disadvantages to using proprietary #Nvidia drivers with #XLibre. We've fixed a few minor bugs and received positive feedback from users with gaming rigs, e.g., https://github.com/orgs/X11Libre/discussions/211#discussioncomment-14184548. In release 25.1.0, we'll add support for the older Nvidia drivers v390 and v470 as described in https://github.com/X11Libre/xserver/pull/658.
