I'm still running Sequoia on my main Mac, and crap like this makes me not want to upgrade anytime soon.
@paul personally, #Apple tries hard advertising #Linux...

@paul yuuuup

I upgraded my laptop and it's still jarring.

Going back to 10.4 with its candy bar scroll bars on my old G4 is honestly a better experience

@geerlingguy don't get me started on how performance feels on the older M chips.
@paul @geerlingguy does it feel better on newer M Macs?
@paul I dislike it so much. You’re just typing and suddenly it adds five lines of irrelevant code that isn’t even remotely correct. I don’t understand how they released it like this.
@jblake @paul That’s not how it works… you have to hit ⌘+0, enter a prompt, wait, and THEN it adds five lines of irrelevant code when you just wanted to see an answer on the sidebar.
@paul It’s actually not that bad. At least in the office where they’re practically shoving AI down our throats, Apple’s implementation is pretty dang time compared to what the web guys are stuck with.
@paul I think the Mac will get so over crappified in the next few years that I’ll have to use Linux.
@paul Ouch, Apple is doing the "remind me later" thing, too now?
@paul as usual, the most useful option "Remind me never" is out of the picture
@paul my daily driver is a 2019 MBP that’s not getting the upgrade, and I’ve decided I’m not mad about it
@paul I regret upgrading this week.
@paul why is there no “never show this again” …
