I hate I can't choose the brown accent using GNOME (and maybe KDE?)... my Chrome uses that, Zed uses that, Telegram as well... but my desktop no and I am forced to use accents that are terrible looking with my wallpaper... Chrome OS is two steps ahead..

@mirkobrombin I was just noticing how Zorin in the last update added brown and yellow accent colours, and wondering who would use those. I now know lol
@martinligabue ahaha I think every OS must have an adaptive accent, based on the wallpaper.
@mirkobrombin You can choose any accent color in KDE, it has a color picker for that. Also there is an option to auto pick accent color from current wallpaper.
@onbywill damn that's what I need... but I am used to the GNOME workflow.
@mirkobrombin what do you mean by brown accent? I'm curious...
@portaloffreedom here, you can see that GNOME provides a selection of accents, picking one changes the main color of all the details. I need a brown one, as you can see in the Google Chrome's screenshot

@mirkobrombin The color is even included in Adwaita variables, should be an easy patch. You can already do that with a CSS file. Adwaita has an easy workaround, but IDK what to do for gnome-shell, a simple extension might be required until a proper patch is written.

There is an extension that does something similar to what I did here, but it is abandoned.

These commands do the CSS as seen in the image: https://pastebin.com/GDXs2RNG
Need logout/login.

@jntesteves I see that but for the gnome shell I had to place a custom CSS file. Now everything (almost everything) is brown 🟤
