It’s simple, Chuck. Extend the ACA premium subsidies and reopen the government. The GOP can do this any time.

@georgetakei Don't forget they also control the Supreme Court. They are in control of everything, and yet somehow they're not responsible for the shutdown.

Also, their dear leader, the convict, is on record as saying that shutdowns are the responsibility of the president, and that the president needs to get the parties together to come to an agreement. I guess that only applies to Democrat presidents though...

@georgetakei

Without much fanfare or insurrectionists in the rotunda, the United States Congress has been rendered meaningless. Something that you can open up for some rubber stamping and "voluntary" acclaim and keep shut otherwise if they are not attuned enough to the needs of the few.

@georgetakei …side note…how the hell do we keep getting so many Chucks in congress?
That’s a car salesman name. I mean seriously… if a dude walks up, puts out his hand and says “I’m Chuck and I hear you like that Chevy Traverse.” You’d be on your guard. If ‘Chuck’ was introduced as your brain surgeon you’d get a second opinion. And yet they end up as old men in government…
@georgetakei the plan is so simple, take healthcare away from people who need it so they can give money to people who don't. Why can't people grasp that robbing the poor to give to the rich is what
America voted for.

@georgetakei

Many in Public service agree that shutting down the Government for any reason is NOT good. Matters not what political party is in office on this one. The plandemic and other such shutdowns give the world the impression we do not have our act together and, are happy to advertise this to our enemies. Of course, a handful of political leaders think we live in a perfect world where a select few get to decide our safety. Many in our nation, are right to object. Vote them out!
