It was cool and windy this morning, so I decided to wait to ride after lunchtime. That was smart as it warmed up and the winds diminished so this afternoon was a lovely Autumn day for riding. I rode the Douglas State Trail to Whitebridge Road and back for 35 miles. The cool weather the last few days has gotten the trees to start to change color. It is always neat to see bright sunlit oranges and yellows against a deep blue sky like today.
