CNN reports that Israel has refused to release two abducted Palestinian doctors, renowned pediatrician Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya and Dr. Marwan Al Hams, deliberately excluding them from the ceasefire and prisoner swap agreement.
This is despite the fact they had initially agreed to release them, but removed their names from the list.
This is why Palestinians didn't want to release the captives all at once. But sadly, they were forced to.
The two doctors, both vital figures in Gaza’s healthcare system, were detained while working to treat patients under horrific siege conditions. Their exclusion from the detainee/prisoner-captive release list has been met with widespread outrage from Palestinian political factions and medical advocacy groups.
Withholding the release of medical personnel reflects a deliberate targeting of Gaza’s health sector, a tactic of "Israel’s" broader assault on civilian infrastructure in Gaza.
@irishphoto it's really hard to argue that this ain't genocidal when they refuse to let medical professionals go in a time where every single colleague of them is working just shy of dropping dead.
Attention: Israel.
Release ALL the fucking hostages. Unless you want the world to know that you are more evil than Hamas.
