LOL, we're asking for tips for phone-case vendors now?
@marcoarment This is getting out of control! LOL
@marcoarment PAY YOUR FUCKING EMPLOYEES PEOPLE
@marcoarment That’s young people’s fault. I’m a very good tipper but us old people are totally unused to the weird tip requests we get nowadays. This just makes it weirder 🙁
@marcoarment are tips taxed with a different rate? Or if not, then why not just increase the price by say $5 for each case which will likely drive more revenue than the tips on average.
@marcoarment
Asking is expected (sorta)
Paying is stupid
@marcoarment I don’t understand the whole tips thing. Just tell me how much I owe you in your menu/price tag/whatever.
@marcoarment If they didn’t refill my phone case at least six times, I don’t tip.
@marcoarment It's an on/off toggle in Shopify - people turn it on like "maybe someone will" without thinking how it looks to ask everyone
@marcoarment I’d cancel my order if I saw this and I’ve been a busboy and I tip well.
@marcoarment shit, does this mean the Suti back I ordered (that is lagging on shipping) isn’t going to work?
@marcoarment tipping in the US has been out of control for so long. We should instead pay a living wage, provide healthcare, and have a path to a meaningful retirement.
@marcoarment it would be hilarious if Apple asked for a tip when @siracusa orders his new Mac Pro.
@marcoarment it is madness, especially because they are already very expensive to begin with.
@marcoarment Is this Ryan London or the vendor they are using?
@marcoarment Just bought this case. It's OK, but the leather is not as good as Bullstrap and the buttons are WAY stiff.
@marcoarment What did you order? I’m kind of regretting my purchase. This is my saddle brown case after 8 months. It’s just a dark sludge brown now. I don’t expect it to look new, and I get that patina is thing, but this is *so* far from new that I probably won’t order another.
