This month my search costs tripled and my “no results” rate jumped to 97%. Nearly all the search traffic is coming from Microsoft, and tons of queries are completely unrelated to my service. Best I can guess this is Copilot. It seems to be using my engine as a source whenever it classifies a query as gaming-related.

So I added a referer requirement, and that stopped the traffic. Though it’s trivial to defeat if somebody wants to.

Totally whelmed by today’s Apple event, as usual. Actually fell asleep during part of it. Replacing the $1000 iPhone with one that has no battery life is a bold move. Base pro prices essentially go up, since the old base is gone. It may be the same for somebody already buying a 256GB, but it’s not for somebody who buys the base pro.

As I expected going into it, I’m not compelled to buy.

Rear upstream and power, some ports on front, most on back. Why is that so hard? Why are all current hubs designed to be left dangling, or used temporarily and thrown into a bag? Saw a decent USB2 model, but no USB3 (not C) models fit this description.

God dammit. When I heard the rumors of an updated Magic Mouse, I thought maybe it’s been long enough free of Ive’s influence that we’d maybe get an ergonomic mouse from Apple. Instead, it’s literally the same mouse with USB-C instead. That’s it.

I love the Magic Mouse, but even with addon wings, it’s just not very comfortable. I’m stuck with this MX Master 3S with all its squishiness in both click and surface.
