Good morning from Dublin!
We arrived yesterday after midnight because the flight was delayed, and we didn't get much sleep because we have to catch the bus to Cork in a little bit.
We're now having breakfast in the hotel.
For now, I can't say much other than people here seem very friendly (at least compared to Berlin)

Spent a lovely afternoon walking around Cork with our Irish friend who showed us around and told us many fascinating facts about the city.

Today we visited Blarney Castle and gardens, it was gorgeous. We saw so many beautiful mosses and mushrooms too! What a great day 💚

Good morning from Killarney!
Looking forward to going hiking today in the National Park!
Fingers crossed for lots of mosses and mushrooms 💚

The hike did not disappoint. Literally everything is covered in moss, lichen and mushrooms. Truly a fairy land.
We walked for around six hours, even had to take our shoes off several times because the trail was flooded. Towards the end we visited an old Abbey in ruins (Muckross Abbey) that was really beautiful with a super old yew tree growing in the central courtyard. In the evening, we went to a local pub for some food and mocktails. It was a long day and I just woke up after sleeping for 10 hours uninterruptedly. Hiking in the cold Irish wind does seem to be exhausting 😅

I love that there are jackdaws and rooks everywhere 🖤

Yesterday we visited Ross Castle. From there, we took a little boat to Innisfallen island, where there are ruins of an old monastery, that was first established in the 7th century. It was really lovely, because we had the island all to ourselves and were able to be silly and pretend to sacrifice my partner to the Old Gods on a stone altar (see photo below).
We even spotted some cute deer.

Wow! This whole trip has been so beautiful! So many cool structures and creatures and things to see. Looks like an actual fantasy land! 🦄
@glamfrenzy it totally is! I'm always expecting to briefly see some gnomes or fairies hiding behind the moss covered ruins or mushroom clusters :3
