@catgirlfingies If I may suggest, try using hashtags.

They have a lot of function here, as you can not only search them, but also follow them as if they were a person, so that the use of them shows up in your Home feed.

So if you look up #trans and follow it, or even just skim the results, you should have plenty of chatter to read, and see who appeals to you to follow directly.
