CascaCasca95Also if any of you from Germany plan to phone the Bundestag before the 9th october regarding chatcontrol, I'll also add the email that I used for you to use as a reference what you're going to say and if you want you can also add your own words to argue against it. Try to remain calm while calling the politicians even if the topic might get you worked up and stay defiant in your cause.

If I get the chance and find something for other countries I will post it here too, keep in mind that my main concern is Germany since I live in here.
The main arguments against chatcontrol boil down to invasion of privacy, AI can be easily abused, no sufficient child protection and so forth. I don’t know about the questions tbh but maybe there are others who had experience with calling politicians via phone so they can give you better informations as to what to expect.

I wrote another email today to appeall to the German ministries to not implement chatcontrol (mainly from the CDU and SPD faction). I can't guarantee if they'll answer me or not but it's still better than nothing.

That sounds cool and do what you can to help fight against this shit proposal. I will take a break for today and we'll see how it develops in general, I do hope that it's going to work in our favour.

wenn du den Mailtext meinst, das ist die Standardvorgabe aus fightchatcontrol.eu wenn du Bundestagsmitglieder anschreiben willst. Wenn du mehr wissen willst kannst du gerne Fragen stellen und mein Profil hat auch Infos bezüglich der Chatkontrolle. Ich empfehle dir bei der CDU und SPD viel druck zu machen weil sie im Endeffekt über die Chatkontrolle entscheiden wollen (Entscheidungsgewalt haben die Minister und der dänische Vorstand am 14. Oktober).

unter dem Banner MdEP gibt es auch die Regierungsanstalten, es schadet nicht wenn du die auch unter Druck setzt. Ansonsten, am wichtigsten ist es aufjedenfall alle (Bundestag-)Mitglieder (Abgeordnete sowie Minister) der SPD und CDU unter Druck setzt egal ob per Brief, Telefon oder Email und sie überredest Chatkontrolle abzulehnen.

@chatcontrol AfD and Rocco Kever are against chat control. And yes.. It's the.. fascist party but.. eh.. we can agree in some things, at least this one... I guess..
I also received the mails, the only ones missing are digitalminister Wildberger aswell as the other ministries since they're essential for this proposal to happen or not.

They already have the (flawed) blackbox-AI technology, making it mandatory will make it very hard for new services to get started with a competing service. Or they would have to include the Google-blackbox.
