Hooo boy, rear rack kid seats, trailers, and steep driveways do NOT get along. Kid nearly flipped us just sitting there because the center of gravity was so high above the rear wheel. Ended up doing a Mission Impossible extraction to get us up the drive. Take note #BikeDad s out there.

@edd also off camber corners can be sketchy AF. The one time we did have a small wreck was going around a corner and up a sidewalk easement, my son shuffled to one side (strapped in) and it all was enough to somehow tip the trailer onto its side.

Later found out it was partially due to the hitch binding. The trailer was a no-name thing a neighbor gave me.. got rid of that and immediately just got a burly bee and put hundreds of safe miles on it.

@edd you need some tractor weights 🙃
@trs Never thought I'd wish for the groceries to hang off the fork.
@edd We used to carry around the kids in a Hamax rear seat. I once almost did a backflip with the bike on a steeper incline. Somehow ended up standing and catching it before the kid's head would have met the ground. Not fun.
BUT it was extremely practical otherwise. Loved leaving the seat at the kindergarten for whichever parent to use on the way home.
@szakib Yea, I felt this one go and somehow managed to jump off and slow the descent down enough that no one or bike got hurt. Love the seat, maybe not best for our driveway that has a pretty absurd grade. It's gotta be at least 12%, but I'm thinking steeper because I had no problems on the road hills.
