Some mornings are magical.
Last night I promised Summer we would make the time for an early run.
As soon as we woke up she let me know that she remembered.
I put on my dog walk going clothes and by the time I got to filling our water bottle she was too excited to stay still.
The quiet, the colors, the absolute stillness was lovely. We soaked in every peaceful moment.

They did but they have been control burning there so we haven't been using that trail. The trail we walked this morning isn't even remotely accessible so we were on our own this morning.

I do love it that Summer looks so happy in the photos. She doesn't look like the labs I see in commercials and such.
She might be a little softer in general than a working dog.
She is perfect for us though.
Too many treats, maybe?
