The British Transport Police (BTP) says it will not investigate bike thefts outside stations where the bicycle has been left for more than two hours.
Needless to say this is the opposite of what we need for joined up, sustainable transport in this country and thefts from insecure bike racks outside stations is a huge barrier to bike commuting for a lot of people
