In today's rant about rail/cycle infrastructure, I'm taking my partner's bike in for a service to get the brake lever replaced, after it snapped off when the bike fell over being lifted down out of a carriage. The distance between the carriage and platform at our station is crazy, which is awkward and expensive for cyclists but an impossible barrier for people with limited mobility.

Now #StolenBike is shutting down (https://stolen-bikes.co.uk/the-end-of-the-road/) does anyone know the best way to potentially identify the owner of a dumped bike I've found? Have tried posting on the local Facebook group with no success, contacting the shop on one of the stickers who say it was sold so long ago they no longer have records and looking for UV markings. I'll take it to the police eventually but thought I might do better doing my own search first

So this morning I witnessed a speeding refused truck that nearly went over a cyclist then a Sky minivan left hooking a cyclist on #CS3. The cyclist hit the van then the deck. The driver tried to run away then was stopped down the road by a pedestrian.

I helped the victim to make sure they took full details of driver and witness. Invited the guy to go bike shop and see a doctor (tomorrow will definitely hurt).
