#gearsquad - just saw this UAD promotion. I don't know that I need an amp sim because I use Line 6 modeling already, but free is free.

@RyanHyde I have a real problem with UAD native plugins. They require you run their electron licensing crapware while using it.

I love their stuff that runs on the Apollo, but the native stuff and the electron _dongle_ is a deal killer for me.

@woolie Yeah, I’ve heard other people are upset by this. I can’t find it in me to care, honestly.

@RyanHyde that’s fair. Their plugins sound good. I’ve bought just about all of them over the years. My studio is decked out in Apollos.

@woolie Someday I’m going to budget for some Apollo gear for sure.
