One guy's struggle to regain ownership of some MP3 files.

@cory @wonderfulfrog Very cool! I've been curating my own collection for years. I mean, I still have a bunch in my Qobuz library. At one time, I had over 150,000 tracks, but I decided to zap the whole thing except for a few things like my Grateful Dead collection. Now, I mainly source original issue CDs and place those in my collection. I'm not a remaster fan. Especially as it pertains to metal. MusicBrainz is a wonderful service, and it is certainly a part of my workflow. Anyway, it was great to read about your experience...
@brian @wonderfulfrog I let mine rot away for a while and it took me a bit to rebuild it, but I'm glad I did. I hang on to *some* CDs (like NoMeansNo's catalog since it was a process to track down), but it's mostly digital. It all sits on an archive drive that Backblaze backs up and I also mirror to a B2 bucket using rclone.
