Bird Hike—Saturday, October 4, 8:30—10:30 a.m. Meet at the park entry booth. Calling all #birders! Join us for a guided "bird walk” through the park, led by Ranger Arzu Pahl. Learn the basics of birding, including how to identify some of the many bird species native to Maine by sight and sound during this 1-2 hour walk. All skill levels are welcome. Please bring binoculars.

Owl Prowl—Sunday, October 5, 7:00-9:00 pm. Meet at the park entry booth. Look and listen for Owls with Ranger Arzu Pahl. Wear comfortable walking/hiking foot gear.

#FullMoon Observation on #MountBattie & #Yoga—Monday, October 6 Yoga session at 6:00 p.m. with Nicole. Moon observation from 7:00—10:00 p.m. park. The Mt Battie Auto Road will be open until 10:00 p.m. so visitors can take in the Moon on International Observe the Moon Night from the overlook at the top of Mt. Battie.

Movie Night—Wednesday, October 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Picnic Shelter. Title TBA.

#CameronMountain Blueberry Field Restoration — Saturday, October 11, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Join park volunteers for #blueberry field restoration work on Cameron Mountain.

The Great Dlsappointment of 1844— Wednesday, October 22, meet at 6:45 a.m. Meet off Youngtown Road off Maiden Cliff Road—park in field. Please note: this is offered only once a year as the land is private property. Every October 22nd, for 30 years, Rosey Gerry leads a historical hike to Millerite Cliffs.

Cost: Programs are free with park admission. Day use: $1.00 ages 5-11, $4.00 Maine residents age 12-64, $6.00 non residents age 12-64, $2.00 non residents 65+; persons under 5 & Maine residents 65+ free.
