Another win for the Ortlieb panniers. This 8"x8"x8" box is one of the things I thought might be difficult to bring to work via bike but one box just fits.

It's rare I need to transport two boxes this size but worse case I've still got the rack and could zip tie the crate onto it again.

(The other pannier holds my backpack.)

@kevm The crate wasn't too bad! I'm actually working on a quick-mount plate for it just in case... and the light on the rack used to be on the crate.

(My DIY pannier was terrible though!)

Have you tried the kitty litter panniers? Relatively water resistant with some stability.
