German Wikipedia says that it can be found all over Europe including Great Britain

@sista_ray @nic the German and the English wikpedia articles on Pholiota aurivella seem like they're not even talking about the same mushroom. Totally different ranges, different advice about edibility, and the photos look pretty different. I'm not enough of a fungi knower to be able to evaluate the descriptions for similarity, tho.

(I think it's likely the English wp article is wrong in the places it disagrees with .de, and the images are just showing normal variation, but it gives me pause.)

@eqe @sista_ray thanks - pretty sure the ones I spotted are a different species, although maybe the same genus - Pholiota adiposa is my best guess at the moment, but I'm hoping to go out on the bike later and get some better pictures, take note of the tree sepcies, etc
