@Viss @JessTheUnstill Actually, the problem is that we did NOT elect a majority of Democrats.
Because… every sitting SCOTUS justice nominated by Democrats is trying to maintain our Democracy. And, none of this absolute insanity being done by the President and unchallenged by Congress… was happening when Democrats were in charge.
In fact, if people actually voted for Democrats regularly, it’s undeniable things would be much better today.
But let’s complain about the minority party instead of the people in charge??????
Yeah let's complain about an opposition that can't field a candidate who can beat a convicted felon.
@Jam123 @Dave_Goldsmith @mls14 @Viss @JessTheUnstill
The candidate can be changed; the electorate can't.
@dankmane @Jam123 @Dave_Goldsmith @Viss @JessTheUnstill So, people don’t have free will?
They could choose between a Nazi and a black woman and somehow the actions of somebody in the Democratic Party forced them to pick the Nazi?
Trump voters and non-voters need to OWN this. Because only THEY can fix it. By switching away from the GOP or showing up, respectively.
@mls14 @dankmane @Jam123 @Viss @JessTheUnstill
The Dems ran a candidate that lost to a convicted felon. I'm not placing blame, I am stating the facts.
I'd say that is an indictment of our polity and it doesn't speak well for the "loyal opposition," either, IMHO.
@Dave_Goldsmith @dankmane @Jam123 @Viss @JessTheUnstill You placed blame in your prior post. And then placed blame AGAIN in the sentence after saying you aren’t placing blame.
All while ignoring the myriad factors other people are discussing that might make a difference in the future. And refusing to offer any of your own ideas for solutions.
@mls14 @dankmane @Jam123 @Viss @JessTheUnstill
I place no blame and I have no solutions. I am not encouraged that some people seem to be placing blame on an electorate insufficiently motivated by their own chosen candidate to vote against a felon.
