First shadow, than sunlight. Looking back reveals how lovely that camp spot was. First snack with a view. Then the pass. Suuk-Döbö at only 2422 m. But what a view! Met Alden, exchange making photos of us. Off-Road descent leads to Ylai-Talaa, just 30 km and 2:45 hrs into the day. Wow - the small magazin asks whether I want eggs! They make fried eggs! That is even possible in Kyrgyztan? I later try my luck on other days at other places… but to no avail. That would be a lucky one-off. Control Car 3 came by and did a little interview and photos. The local police man, too. I leave - aim for the day: Kok-Art. The last re-supply before the infamous 30 km Hike-a-Bike. From now on I will follow the river Tar 100 km upwards. It seems endless! And it’s endless hot! At 1:30 pm I seek shelter in a bus stop. Finally shade! Every magazin I find I stop. Not that many available - but nevertheless. Can’t believe the endless views and the endless valley. The river at first deep below. And ever so slowly nearing me. Discovering Piroshki! Fried potatoe filled dough pockets. Awesome!
