Current progress on my system is installed #nixos with #btrfs and #luks2 oh and I also have a swap file but nothing else really. I tried doing secureboot but I've decided to do it later. As for now I'll have to learn how to govern my Nix lol. This will take a while

As a finisher of this topic I can say that I'm going with Debian as I didn't quite like the Fedora way of doing stuff. Well somewhere deep in my heart I really wanted to go on Alpine, but I'm too afraid that it just won't cut this time. I can only wish myself that I won't be distro-hopping in a while.
