@hotdogsladies please let us know what the custom screw thing you mentioned on RoTL is! You said it just goes “zhoop” in the wall?

I use a Milwaukee impact drill fitted with a T-25 bit. You want to find "structural screws" that meet your needs. I've had good luck with the GRK brand.

Vroom vroom.

I am posting this again because structural screws are a powerful and satisfying use of technology.

@hotdogsladies If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

@hotdogsladies my brother is a carpenter and swears by GRK screws. The Phillips ones that come with everything are junk.
@hotdogsladies GRK are fantastic. Basically the only thing I use. For lighter duty, I also recommend their “cabinet” screws. (And by lighter duty, they’re still literally used to mount cabinets, so they are very strong.)
@hotdogsladies This is a video of a man with a driver — and he’s not afraid to use it. #facts

@hotdogsladies

Watched this three times, it’s very pleasing.

@ma3ke

I can't even begin to tell you!

@hotdogsladies

Look, *I* know what all of that means, but in case *you* don't, I asked ChatGPT what an impact driver was:

@hotdogsladies literally just got a Milwaukee drill and impact driver because my old apartment-grade Bosch drill wasn’t cutting it for all the home and car stuff I do now.

Also got a Milwaukee heat gun. I made the mistake of holding my hand in front to see how quickly it got hot. It damn near burned me within 2s.

@hotdogsladies please take care and I look forward to next time
@hotdogsladies Does that long screw span the bay? 🫣
@hotdogsladies Real, “220, 221, whatever it takes,” vibes. 👷‍♂️
