Osborne computer
DEC VAXsration 3100 and a digital professional 350 PDP-11s and DEC VT240
Floppy disks and other magnetic media of all different types, including 5 inch 3 1/2” 8 inch and mag tape
This was a really good swap meet. There were so many stalls. It almost made it up to the open part of the parking deck.
Lots of ham radios at the swapfest as well as well as vintage, hi-fi stuff and lots of Heathkit
@jeffluszcz dang no sun gear for #suntember or #sparctember
@Irishmasms there was tons of sparc gear, but due to editorial discretion, they did not make it into my posting, gear is some of the largest amount of stuff I see there
@Irishmasms next month, I promise! There was also a HUGE box labeedl "sun cards"
@jeffluszcz Always look at these hoping to glimpse a DG meatball!!
@jessamyn No DG stuff there this month alas! Lots of Digital DEC stuff though. I always expect to see more due to the closee distance to Maynard, but almost none except this month had a ton. I was _tempted_ since the price was almost right!
@jeffluszcz There was a DG thing in that picture! Nova Relocatable Assembler. Not hardware, but still cool.
@jessamyn good eye, I missed the forest for the trees!
@jeffluszcz
big screen on that portable 🤪
@jeffluszcz Hi Jeff, What a nice collection from memory lane! I've been looking for a VT-240 terminal for my home built 6309 system. The purpose is to play with REGUS graphics. You seem to have some, are you willing to sell one to me? They are almost impossible to find nowadays.
@jbeeksma Hi Jacob, unfortunately these aren't my machines, they were for sale at the MIT Flea market in Cambridge, MA last year. The MIT Flea / Swapfest starts up again in April. More info here: https://w1mx.mit.edu/flea-at-mit/
Swapfest: The Flea at MIT · The MIT Radio Society

@jeffluszcz Well, thanks for coming back att me. Unfortunately I'm in Europe. Visiting a Swapfest in the US would be fun.
@jeffluszcz Oooh, was that a Mac 128?!?!??!?!
@ai6yr There was at least one there today.
@jeffluszcz
ahh yes maps. Famous for their err 'thinking'
@jeffluszcz It's really good that I don't live there, LOL.

@ai6yr @jeffluszcz

u-haul rents trucks....

@MsMerope @jeffluszcz Does U-Haul rent large 20 acre properties with a water tight barn (with power?) 🤪
@ai6yr @jeffluszcz I went with a friend of mine once and advocated for "conservation of crap", ie get something only if you get rid of something...
@va2lam @jeffluszcz Yes, that is my general approach to things, as much as I can. i.e. anything new coming in means something has to go out.
@va2lam @ai6yr That's my philosophy. It's made It much easier to leave things there (a 70$ PDP-11 was SOOOO tempting this time though) It's a good thing I've gotten into arduinos and microcontrollers, a lifetime hobby can fit
in a copy paper box!

@jeffluszcz

Whoa, I spy an ESC key where the TAB key goes on modern keyboards!

Could it be an ADM-3A???

(Or rather, a variant, or related terminal? Maybe that escape key placement was more widespread than I initially thought.)

@jeffluszcz
The ZX81 nostalgia hits hard - first computer I ever used!!
@bluewave_kiwi I was tempted to pick up a ZX81 they are petty cheap now, and I always wanted one. I used to go to the store and look at them when they first came out since I thought I might be able to get one they were so cheap.

@jeffluszcz

Based on my experience from 40 years ago, a problem could be the keypads... our one developed delamination even back then. Plus the optional "16kb rampack" got a bit glitchy! Good luck!
